[Hythlodaeus might be the most gifted in the vision of all of them, but he certainly isn't the only observant one. Achelois has learned much through her travels, and she's been around him for years.
She squeezes his hand softly. She wishes she could make him see how he looks to her, but her words ever seem to fall on deaf ears. To this day, she cannot fault him for proposing Hades for the seat of Emet-Selch, but he would not have been offered the seat himself if he had had no skill... and yet he turned it down because he did not believe himself capable enough. Of course, Hades is perfect for the role, but Achelois still thinks Hythlodaeus would have been an asset to the Concovation, even if he cannot see it himself.]
I have every confidence he could manage without my help. It's not being informed that I find unacceptable. I wouldn't have cared if he'd sent word after all was said and done, if he had just bothered to do so when it happened.
Not that I hold only him responsible. Any of the others could have done so as well and they did not and I find that... interesting.
[She's going to have words with some people, and they are not going to like it.
As for his last question...]
It's not confidential. Not yet, at least. I came across a smaller settlement where people were having toruble with their creation magicks. Something was... disturbing their aether, somehow, so that they either could not use magicks at all, or if they did, the results were not what was expected.
It appeared to resolve on its own after a few days, but I could not identify any obvious cause, and I believe it requires further investigation.
